All about Ricky

Ricky has been a professional hairstylist since 2008 (15 years). Inspired by the punk and grundge scene in his youth, he started playing with altering his own and his friend's hair, eventually getting talented at creating alternative hairstyles that evoked the essence of "cool."

Ricky is not only a hairdresser, but an all around artist. Not only within the realm of hair, but also drawing/painting, sculpture, and music! When it comes to the shape and color of hair, he has an affinity for creating a beautiful and thought out composition that is sure to compliment each individual, based on their own preferences and personalities. Formally trained in the vidal sassoon style of hairdressing, he can execute cutting edge modern styles as well as classic percision shapes. 

Raised in Texas, he is now a long term fishtown resident with his kitty named "Figgy". 

When not in the salon, you can find him playing music with his band "The Maybe Nots" or nerding out playing Dungeons and Dragons and watching cartoons. The phrase "never grow up" definitely would be apt to describe Ricky Chan.
